5 /5 Donna Caruso: Amazing service from the moment you walk in the door. Atmosphere was elegant and friendly. Food was so delicious we couldnt wait before we took pictures. Shame we waited so long to visit here, and we look forward to our next visit. The best experience!

5 /5 Cassandra Natt: We enjoyed some ghost stories with our dinner. The AV was rated Pennsylvanias most haunted restaurant by The Food Network. It was used as a temporary morgue during the 1918 influenza epidemic. I was wishing they still had a stretcher left in the basement to wheel me out of there after all the food we ate. The service and food were amazing. They really hit it out of the park with their pork chop and the salmon was fantastic.

4 /5 Angela P.: Ive been visiting AV since its days in Moosic, and I can confidently say the Scranton relocation is such a smashing success. The bar area is beautiful and the drinks are complex without being pretentious. The menu is small and seasonal but executed beautifully. Staff is attentive. A great spot to grab a happy hour drink, have a special dinner, or host a small event in their upstairs space. Parking on that block of Penn Ave is a pain so definitely factor in time to accommodate.

4 /5 Carol Murillo: The service was excellent—our waitress Danny was friendly and attentivel. The burrata was hands down the best we’ve had—creamy, fresh, and crunchy pistachios on top. We also tried the chicken parmesan and the pork chop. The pork chop had a nice crunch on the outside, though we felt it could use a bit more seasoning inside. The Albariño white wine was a perfect pairing, it is not easy to find Spanish wine around.
