What Clients Are Saying about Salvation Army Aliquippa Worship and Service Center (on GG)
4 /5 Valli Brandt: The staff here are very kind and caring. They make sure people have everything they need.
5 /5 John Bosh: For a disabled single senior citizen veteran who gets $21.oo a month in food stamps, The Salvation Army Food Bank is a blessing. Plus having no transportation rather than walking the 1.5 miles from my home, if another member sees me on the road they are blessed and they will stop and give me a ride. And then ride me home. The food if not out dated enough to be spoiled it is excess that the Giant Eagle Grocery Store has over purchased that they donate and get a tax write-off. Plus weekly they donate day old bread, which is good since it is baked in the store 2 miles away. The volunteer workers are kind and helpful and the operation is organized so there is no quarreling or disputes. Anyone who is in need of help, I recommend that they come in.
3 /5 steve winkle: The new person that is in charge of the food is starting to give more food, because they are now getting produce in to give to those who are in need, I like how they have it you are only allowed to get once a month, so thats fair to everyone who is in need of getting what they need to get by on for these days,I just wish that the stores that donate would think about everyone who would have a little four footed friend at home, even they need food also
5 /5 Christina Hudak: The lady that works for them was very nice and the play has a chapel were you can have church service or any kind of service they have a big kitchen and a gym in the place it was cool and they have bathrooms too
5 /5 Anitra & Zman J. Strother: I volunteer here a few days a week they provide a food bank every Tuesday and they have a great program for kids all year round
