The lip service from the Alliance for Consumer Protection is pretty much the same as the lip service I received from the contractor. Promises of doing something and not following through. During my last contact with ACP it was explained they were unable to follow up with writing a letter to the contractor because the office is being relocated. The letter was suppose to be done 3 weeks earlier.

Roberto G: This is a fake company that used to be another fake company called National Asset Management. (exact same address as before). If you look at Google Street View it is NOT a place of business. They had somehow gotten a hold of old collection accounts (which are no longer valid) from 5 years ago from a legitimate collection agency, stole the name and started harassing people for old balances. That was two years ago. Now they are Global Credit Solutions and are again harassing people for these illegitimate balances. While on the phone with someone from the company he started screaming at me and told me that he was going to "send people to your business to harass you every day until you pay what you owe!" He also used profanity and was very unprofessional. If they call, hang up. They have no legal standing to collect any debts. I was previously in contact with the PA Attorney Generals office about this and I am currently also placing a claim with the IL Attorney Generals office to see if we can get these guys to stop scamming people out of money that they do not owe.

Dan Hatfield: Customer service is very bad. Ask a question, after asking 5 different people. Someone did finally answer it. When opening a premium green money market account , you have to change it to email statements only, which is great, when I opened account they said this was done automatically. IT IS NOT. You have to change it yourself, which is no big deal , just wish I would have been told that. Definitely gave me wrong information.

Alex Braunbeck: I contacted Scarry to find what I needed for tax prep, as my previous one retired. They were great on the phone. I called a second time on Friday March 7 asking if I could email my paperwork since I wasnt able to get there before 5. They let me know I could drop off Wednesday by 6 and wed be ok. The following Wednesday comes and they tell me they are no longer taking clients. I wasnt thrilled about the follow through on what they said on the phone. I applied and was granted an extension on my taxes. I called twice the week of March 17 to see if they could take my taxes and finish after the deadline. I have yet to receive a call back. Im sure they are good people, but this was an extremely frustrating experience. I relied on them for tax prep, called and received direction at their request, and they refused to honor it.
