4 /5 Joe V: Great food, a few service hiccups Great food and an awesome experience trying out this cuisine! We went with the Friends and Family Treat option, which includes 4 proteins and 4 sides for $65. Just a heads-up — only chicken is included in this price; other proteins come with an extra charge ($5–$10 depending on the choice). Also, note that rice isn’t included with the proteins and needs to be added as a side. It would be nice if the combo came with a dessert or two to round out the meal. The food itself was delicious, and we really enjoyed it. My one star deduction is for the service — one of our ordered items was missed, and it took quite a while to get plates and utensils. Otherwise, definitely worth a visit for the great flavors!

5 /5 The Food Kangaroo: Absolutely phenomenal! The plantains were literally the best I’ve ever had in my life. Everything was flavored well and served hot. The Husband and Wife team that run this establishment are some of the warmest and most kind people I’ve met in a really long time. Their great customer service mixed with the really tasty food makes this place a 10/10. Recommendations : if you’re feeling like moving away from basic “caribbean” fare, try these delicious options stewed goat, plantains, jasmine rice with black beans, red snapper with sauce, THE MACARONI AND CHEESE, djon djon rice with black bean sauce, ask for pikliz (peek-leez) and eat it with the plantains Gatekept Place that every one should know about
