3 /5 Tara R: This place has so much potential to be great but instead of being authentic to the culture, its catering to the city population. The food lacked the flavors expected from Hispanic food. Some items like the pork was great but the shrimp, beans and veggies didnt have any seasoning. The tostones didnt have garlic sauce so by themselves, they were bland. The empanadas were decent but nothing to rave about. The menu stated they had veggie empanadas but they said they dont have any which is disappointing for a non meat eater.
The service was good and the waitresses were friendly.
Although I didnt think the food was great, I would recommend for others to give it a try. Just know its reservation only and opened on Fri and Sats.
