3 /5 Miss Val: I came here for lunch with a group from work on a Thursday in December. The group was 10 people and we had a reservation.
We were seated in the dining room. The decor was holiday themed and gave a cozy vibe. Our server was with us immediately and she was friendly and attentive.
I ordered the New England clam chowder and their salad special that day - crab cake salad. The clam chowder was a bit more brothy versus chowdery and there was bacon in it. The taste was fine but had I know there was bacon I probably wouldn’t have ordered it. The salad and the crab cake were just ok for me. The lettuce wasn’t very crisp, there wasn’t much carrot and the crab cake wasn’t very flavorful. I asked for no tomato on the salad but to add red onion - there was no tomato but also no onion. It was fine though, I don’t think it would have made it any better.
I had heard good things about Leed’s for other people and was a bit disappointed with my meal.
