5 /5 Alison Perry: We exited the highway because there were quite a few options on the food sign, but as soon as we saw La Tonaltecha we skipped Dennys and Perkins! Great food! I had the carnitas burrito and my hubby had the steak fajitas from the lunch menu which were perfectly portioned and priced. We also polished off a basket of house made chips and salsa. Yum! The service was great. They have a bar, but we didnt get cocktails since we were in transit.

5 /5 Willoughby Stephanie: My husband brought us here for my birthday dinner. It was a Thursday night. The restaurant was not packed. We were seated immediately and the food came quickly. Everything was delicious, even the margaritas! The portions are satisfying. We had to take plates to go. The place is clean, staff is friendly. I’d go back and definitely recommend.

3 /5 Sandra Stroble: Good, not great anymore. This place used to be one of my go-tos, but the food has definitely gone downhill. The flavor just isn’t what it used to be. The drinks, though — still solid! I’ve found a few small mom-and-pop Mexican spots in South Side Scranton that blow this one out of the water. That said, it’s still a fun spot for a date night or a birthday celebration — good vibes, just not the best tacos in town anymore.

4 /5 Tejas Shah: Stopped here for lunch while on our way back to Toronto from NYC. Good atmosphere with a Mexican vibe through music and decor. Plenty of really delicious vegetarian choices to pick from. Generous portion sizes - one entree is more than sufficient for one person with a good appetite. Definitely value for money.
