4 /5 Jude Missall: Wonderful lighting and elegant atmosphere, very calm and homely. Food is definitely very fresh and you can tell cooked by experienced and passionate hands. Staff is fantastically kind and warm (shout out to Kristen for making our anniversary even better). The only thing holding me back from a full 5 star rating is that the prices do seem a bit extravagant for what is offered. For instance, the steak and cheese sandwich was very tasty, but for a near 20$, you just feel kindof silly when its brought to you, instead of getting an actual dish for the same price like the Pasta, which is rich and delicious. Everything Ive had, including appetizers are legitimately great, just rather hard to justify. This place feels like it could easily be a heartfelt memory for locals, and you can expect reliably quality food and wonderful bread. Id come back in a heartbeat and would change my rating higher immediately if I saw a menu rebalance or presentation/novelty increase. Probably one of the top 3 best places within a 40 minute radius.
