1 /5 Spartachris: I just ordered a cup of potato soup and a buffalo grilled chicken salad and I must say that whoever is in charge of the kitchen should be incredibly embarrassed. I had to return to the restaurant as the soup was cool.. not even room temperature, but cool. They must’ve thrown some in the microwave and given it to me, as the next one was “hot”ish. The salad leaves were all shrivelled and old and tasted like they’d been dropped on the floor. I’m not exaggerating in the slightest. With each bite there was a gritty particle sensation, like sand were sprinkled over it. The chicken is overcooked and dry. Nothing more needs to be said. I am disgusted with this place and what passes as acceptable to them. I will never return and I’d highly recommend steering clear of this place if you have ANY standards, whatsoever, about what you ingest. I threw the whole thing away after 3 bites. Abysmal in every sense of the word. $26 and substandard as it gets.

4 /5 jaysvc13: Came during lunch and it was pretty dead. Staff was friendly and attentive. As a reuban connoisseur, I ordered theirs. Not bad. Average amount of corned beef. Good ratio of cheese and kraut. Marble rye was firm and didnt get soggy (which is the most important quality). 7.5/10 Id get it again if Im in the area, but wouldnt drive out of my way for it.

4 /5 Dede King: Yummy food! I have driven past, but had never stopped. Finally had a minute… I think it’s cool that this was once a LJS and they were able to utilize the building. Sonny’s Grille had made it their own and it looks amazing! Their food is very good. I got the chili and a taco salad that was fabulous! They have a dining and bar area that seem to do very well. TV’s on the walls. A little louder in the bar area, but it is separate from the dining area. My only reason for the 4 stars is I don’t think the server was very attentive. It was busy, but we needed some service. My water wasn’t filled the whole time I was there except the initial cup. I ended up having to drink what was left of my husbands.. Restrooms available. Must go through the bar to get to the restrooms. Take out/dine in available. Brunch, lunch, dinner and dessert. Accepts reservations. Credit and debit cards accepted. Beer, wine, cocktails and sports. Happy hour drinks, food at bar, late night food. * Wheelchairaccessible entrance, parking, seating and restrooms

5 /5 Joe H.: Sonnys Grille in Belle Vernon is a cozy restaurant with fantastic eats. They offer a nice variety of beers and mixed drinks, the service is friendly, and the food is amazing! They are known for their crab cakes and stuffed mushrooms, and the broccoli cheddar soup, steamed mussels, cheesecake, and stuffed hot peppers are incredible. Sonny’s is highly recommended for its welcoming environment, great food, and friendly staff.

5 /5 SuzyQ: Sonny’s Grille located at 501 Broad Avenue Belle Vernon Pennsylvania 15012 is a comfortable local spot that feels easy and welcoming from the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is relaxed and laid back making it a great place to sit and enjoy a meal without feeling rushed. One of my favorites here is the Pittsburgh burger which is always something I look forward to ordering. It is full of flavor and hits the spot every single time. The dining area is clean and has that hometown feel where you can just settle in and enjoy your food. The staff are friendly attentive and make sure you feel taken care of throughout your visit. Sonny’s Grille is the kind of place you go back to because it feels familiar and consistently good.
