5 /5 Jeff Tate: This is a very cool location. Said to be in an old YMCA building. They had some very good BBQ meats. The beer was great as well. I went with the caged canary Hazy. Plenty of room both inside and out. A large pool room on one side. Staff was very nice and knowledgeable. I would certainly go back.

The food is consistently fantastic, the seasonal treats are always creative and delicious, and the beer lineup is absolutely killer—easily some of the best pours you’ll find in the area. The staff deserves a shout-out too: friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. My friend-group has had a blast there during their Halloween Crawls in years past, and those nights have become some of our favorite memories. The energy, the costumes, the drinks—it’s always a guaranteed good time. If you’re looking to support a truly local spot that nails it in every category, Black Rock Brewpub is the place. Highly recommend.

5 /5 Denise Gehrman: Its meat time for fathers day. Look at this amazing sandwiches. Phenomenal taste. Pictures dont do these sandwiches justice. Pair it with the amaretto espresso martini.

5 /5 Alanna Melones: One of my favorite spots in Pottsville! The atmosphere is super chill and the staff are always friendly. The beer is amazing — there’s always something new and delicious to try. I especially love the outdoor area with the fire pits — perfect place to hang out with friends and relax. Highly recommended!
