1 /5 Dominique Rose: 12/31 came in for lunch with my son. Restaurant wasn’t busy and was sat at a booth.
I think they called it table “12.”
Waitress clearly saw me and my son and even looked at us and didn’t say a word like “I’ll be right with you” nothing like that.
Saw her give service to another table that had come in AFTER we did. I know this because when I came in, an older woman was sitting in the waiting area.
I’m not one to go for the prejudiced button without knowing much but I was the only WOC there besides a woman who was there with a disabled white woman.
I have worked in this industry for over 16 years and have been judged by my appearance, so it wasn’t anything new.
I took my son over to Chili’s and got very good customer service.
Never know who you’re waiting on. It is important to treat everyone with respect.
