5 /5 Sarah Sexton: Wanted somewhere after visiting the Lackawanna Coal Mine for a quick lunch before continuing our journey up towards the Finger Lakes. Found this place thanks to the great Google reviews and was intrigued by a Cuban Sandwich!
Easy to find and plenty of parking. As soon as you walk in you cannot help but smile; the vividly painted tables and chairs and the painting of alien abductions are just a couple of the highlights!
I had a Cuban Panini (fusion cuisine at its finest) and hubby chose the Chicken Milanese panini. We had half of each, and both were served with chips (fries). They were both delicious: the Cuban one had pulled pork, ham, cheese, gherkins (pickles) and was really good, if a bit salty for my taste. The Chicken Milanese stole the show: the chicken was juicy inside with a crispy coating and it was served with cheese and pesto.
A young lad was serving and taking orders and did a great job. Two paninis, 2 bottles of coke and tip came to c$50.
Toilets for customer use only were spotless.
