3 /5 Jeanne Drayer: We have stayed at your beautiful inn many times since our first stay 20 years ago. This year we decided to splurge for our Christmas gift to each other and spend 2 nights December 13 and 14th. As always the place is gorgeous! As the manager we thought it was important for you to know these concerns from long term faithful patrons. After spending the first night, we discovered that a used band aid marked with darkened blood was in the bed with us. A hot cup of tea could not be found in the morning or at the afternoon tea hour. The water was not hot enough for the tea to steep. The TV did not work. When we asked for help with the hot tea we saw a sign at the front desk that said that the Tara Staff was having a Christmas party from 4pm to 6pm. When we informed them of the dirty band aid in our bed there was no apology. She didnt show any surprise. Sadly, this experience was certainly not up to the amazing Tara Inn standards we recalled throughout the past 20 years.
