5 /5 Tara Kline: Southern BBQ is one of our favorite places to eat by far. Quality and quantity are unmatched. They also catered my wedding and let me tell you! WOW! My guests could not stop raving about how absolutely delicious the food was. The leftovers were just as good! I cannot recommend them enough!

4 /5 Kathleen Estes: The bbq and sides are first rate! It would be hard to find better in the area. Had a 2 meat platter, a baked potato bowl and a mac n cheese bowl. The meats sampled were pork and turkey. Meat can be plain or with your choice of several sauces. Service was quick. The only drawback is its basically take out with picnic tables if you eat there. Its hard to eat bbq with plastic ware. Do give it a try, its some of the best.

5 /5 Emily Mottley: Great food for great prices!! We particularly enjoyed the hog wings and baked beans. The chicken wings, brisket and mac and cheese were just as delicious. The smoked chicken wings were seasoned to perfection and the brisket was flavorful and tender. If you are trying to decide where to get BBQ by the river, skip the windy view across the way in favor of the better quality meats and sides at Southern BBQ and Ice Cream. Suggestion: please offer Arnold Palmers, they go great with smoked meat!!

5 /5 Scott Goldman: Simply incredible. Outrageously delicious Hershey’s ice cream shakes. Barbecue the likes of which you’ve never seen: ribs, pulled pork, brisket, wings, and so much more. Outstanding sides like a top notch Mac n cheese, baked potatoes, and as usual, much more. Fantastic BBQ sauce options for all. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Lovely people run the place, too. RUN, do NOT WALK to Southern BBQ. You won’t regret it.
