5 /5 michael attiani: This was our first time trying Pizza West Chester and we will definitely be back. The shop is nice and the two gents behind the counter are charismatic and efficient.
Most importantly, the pizza is delicious.
Its basic - no crazy toppings or signature combos, just "plain cheese," "pepperoni," or "white." When a pizza can stand on its own merits, excess toppings become a distraction instead of an enhancement.
We ordered a pepperoni pie, and Im not gonna lie. We had planned to bring it to our friends house for lunch, but the looks and aroma of our box contents were overwhelmingly enticing, so we risked burning the roofs of our mouths and stole a slice each before we started the car.
Im not ashamed to admit, I wish we had eaten two slices before driving off. Its that good.
If you like a crisp (but not burned or hard) crust, and sweet, delicious flavor, gives this joints pizza a shot. The Delaware Valley is overrun with pizza shops, but not many as authentic as this.
FYI, someone in the reviews noted this is a cash-only shop. That is no longer the case, but there is a slight surcharge for using a card.
