1 /5 Holly Putlock: The owners had two dogs present at my brother’s wedding, one of which was not friendly towards people. They didn’t keep the dogs away from the wedding, and one of the guests got bit pretty badly by the dog because he tried to pet it and didn’t know it wasn’t friendly. It’s completely unprofessional to have your dogs running around a wedding to begin with, but then for the dogs to not even be friendly is a total safety issue. When I told the owner that she never should’ve had the dog out to begin with, she glared at me and wouldn’t break eye contact like she was trying to challenge me. The staff was rude and disrespectful to the wedding guests for pretty much the entire night. When they did the cake cutting, I had to physically pull the owner away because she stood DIRECTLY in front of the bride and groom while we were all taking pictures. The owner interrupted the wedding ceremony by walking down the wooden stairs while the rings were being exchanged, she slammed the metal gate to the kitchen closed, and then proceeded to yell “JEFF. JEFF.” while the officiant was speaking. It was a beautiful venue for the wedding, but if you were looking to be treated kindly and with respect, this is NOT the place you should get married.
