5 /5 scarlettdavis93: If you’re considering this restaurant for dinner, let this be your sign to make a reservation asap! My husband and I just had the BEST meal of our lives at Laurel & Grouse. I’ve traveled to 40 countries and been to hundreds of restaurants, but Laurel & Grouse gave me the best experience and food I’ve ever had. We started with fresh blood orange margaritas, focaccia bread, char-broiled oysters, and crispy short rib pierogis. Then we split the scallops, fresh pappardelle pasta, and crispy brussels sprouts. We had to try their s’more’s desserts, which comes out smelling like a camp fire. Every single bite over the course of our meal was mouthwatering. The time, talent, and energy put into creating these unique and savory dishes is truly impressive. But it doesn’t even stop at the food! We experienced service from both the bar (Gwen) and our server (John) which we’ve never experienced before. Both were extremely knowledgeable about the menu and had the perfect amount of attentiveness. Do yourself a favor and come check this beautiful mom and pop place out for yourself!

5 /5 Catherine Farr: This was a completely beautiful experience. Food was fabulous. We had the broiled oysters and the spare rib pierogies, American Steaks cooked to perfection, and finished with the s’more dessert. All of it was incredible. The service was next level amazing. The restaurant is simply beautiful and comfortable. I could wear jeans and a nice shirt or I could come here dressed up and I wouldn’t look out of place either way. It was such a pleasure, and I cannot wait to come back.

5 /5 Abigail Livella: This is one of those places that makes you feel lucky to have it right here in Johnstown. I’m originally from here, but now live in California, and when I heard there was a new restaurant in town, it was at the top of my list of places to check out next time I came to visit. My family and I went tonight to check out their brand new menu and we were all equally blown away. Every dish felt carefully thought out, fresh, and full of flavor. You can really tell they put a lot of love into what they do. What made the night even better was our server, Anita. She was kind, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome, which is something you don’t always find everywhere. It reminded me why I love supporting local spots like this, they have so much heart behind them. This restaurant is such a hidden gem, and I truly hope more people discover it. Places like this are worth supporting and preserving because they bring so much to the community.

5 /5 Ben Isabella: Worth every cent. What a fabulous experience. The food is phenomenal. Service was great. Everyone was so nice. I can’t believe how amazing the food is. Best place around. Love the atmosphere. Feels like home to be honest. I was so excited to eat those pumpkin crepes that i ate one and then realized, i forgot to take the pic! Amazing experience. I’ll be back!
