4 /5 Frank Soto: This restaurant caught our attention on Google maps so we decided to try it on our weekend getaway. Number one, to out of towners if you are staying in the hotels by the casino and the outlet mall be aware of the drive for dinner. Its about 5 miles from there consisting of narrow roads with some dropoffs and not many guardrails, no street lights, and lots of trees (deer). Probably better off going at lunch time. It was a lively, friendly atmosphere. We had about a 30 minute wait to get seated... But that is expected on a busy Friday evening. We started with appetizers of fried pickle spears and battered portabellas. It took quite some time to get our appetizers. The pickles were on point! Crunchy, salty, and a little more sour than I am used to. Very good. The portabellas could have been better. They were kind of mushy and juicy. I am not sure if they they make the portabellas by hand, but I would imagine they were rinsed before they were breaded, (this would create the juicy mushiness) instead of wiping clean. (Creates a solid texture) Now for our entrees. I ordered the brew burger with Cole slaw and beer battered fries, and my S.O. ordered the kettle klub with chips. The kettle klub was huge! My wife couldnt finish it. She said it was enjoyable. My burger was super tasty! The combination of ingredients was messy but oh so worth it! I absolutely loved the coleslaw! Its very thinly shredded and awesome to add to very bite of brew burger. The beer battered fries were ok, but needed just a little more time in the fryer. I tried one of my wives chips, and they were good, just a little salty. Overall it was a nice experience. The staff we encountered were all friendly, the food was pretty good and a great value. I recommend this place.
