Kōl Grill - Carbondale (PA)

1 /5 Deanna R: I was very disappointed with my dining experience. Unfortunately, the food quality was consistently poor. The mozzarella sticks had to be remade twice, and each time they arrived extremely dry and brittle. The steak dinner lacked flavor, and the beans were undercooked to the point of being inedible. The garlic Parmesan wings were also overly dry, making them difficult to eat. While the service was courteous and our waiter was kind and understanding, the overall meal did not meet expectations. I would not recommend this restaurant based on my experience, as it did not feel worth the time or money.

5 /5 Golden Anchor Cabins: I had a fantastic steak dinner at KOL while on a work trip in Carbondale. The restaurant was slow that evening which is a shame because locals should be taking advantage of this downtown amenity!

5 /5 Will Johns: Megan, the bartender at Kol, has always been wonderful to my coworkers and myself whenever we stop for a drink after work. The service is great, and the drinks are inventive and delicious. Kol also boasts one of the best liquor selections in the area. While I have not yet had food from Kol, those in the groups I often go with have remarked on its great taste and quality.

4 /5 J H: Beautiful restaurant that has a solid 5 star look. The service was extremely professional and on point. The manager even came by to make sure everything was to our liking. He also told us, the history of the restaurant/ hotel and also of the town. For us that was very interesting. The menu has alot of good options depending on your price point. The steaks that they featured looks very tasty, but it will cost you a hefty price. My family (4) ordered the signature cheeseburger (2), another ordered their stuffed shrimp scampi and finally the salmon. The burgers was cooked to our liking (med) and was very good. You have a choice of fries and sweet potato fries. The stuffed shrimp scampi was ok, but I wouldve liked a more garlic flavor. The sauce was just a little bland but the stuffed shrimp was wonderful. The salmon was also ok, but it was small and the risotto had more flavor. I think with a little bit of different seasonings or side pairings. It would make the food a solid 5 star. Would I come again to eat, certainly with no hesitation.

5 /5 Matthew Lyons: We enjoyed our meal. The food was very well prepared and well seasoned, and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. The cuts of meat are all high quality too, which is always nice to see. We definitely plan on coming back!
