Jioios Restaurant - Latrobe (PA)

1 /5 Janey Mazur: I ordered food for pickup last Friday. I placed the order at 5:20 and arrived at 6:15. There was a massive line of people waiting on their orders as well. After 20 mins of waiting, the staff member reassured me that my order was being made. I had two kids waiting in the car with my husband who were hungry, so I wanted to make sure it was being made because if not, I’d have taken them somewhere else to eat. At 7:00, they reassured me again that it was being made. At 7:15, I was told my pizza was being cut. At 7:20, the staff member informed me that my pizza was just put in the oven. I would not have cared if my pizza was delayed, but the continued wrong information and having my kids waiting for food was ridiculous. There was also an obnoxious younger staff member arguing with everyone and causing a scene the entire time. The whole experience was terrible. I absolutely love this pizza but will never return to the Latrobe location. I understand being understaffed and it being a busy night, but after asking twice and being reassured to then find out that was a lie was beyond disappointing.

5 /5 Kim Nickle: Absolutely love their pizza. I live clear across the state and always make a point to stop here when Im in western PA. The sauce has a very unique sweetness and the crust is thin and crispy. This place is always a treat when we are in the area. Service was quick and accurate. We paid $36 for two of us at dinner with no alcoholic beverages. Ample parking. Our server was extremely friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this unique eatery if youre in the area.

5 /5 Pittsburgh Living: Steelers training camp diner was great! Our service from the beginning was prompt and our waitress was attentive the entire time. Ordered the mozzarella sticks and zucchini planks with sauce and Pepperoni pizza. Everything were hot n fresh! Love you sweet sauce…it’s a change of pace from traditional pizza. Must try!

On their website, they say no refunds, which is a horrible business model, especially if you want to treat your clientele happy when the restaurant makes a mistake. The spaghetti sauce is way too sweet and is the same as their pizza sauce. None of the fine Italian flair. I would know that I lived in Sardinia, Italy, for two years. Service is slow, and drink refills dont happen very often. They cant cook a steak medium rare at all, and when you complain, they just tell you to leave. The owner is just a horrible person all around. He stated, "Dont come back." I assure you I wont, and most of my family and friends are going to avoid there also. The restaurant dining area is extremely small. Bottom line, AVOID THIS CRAPPY PLACE. Ive tried again just to ensure my review was not biased. Again, the place was just as I described it. Horrible food and crappy service. Now I will never again eat here.

1 /5 Bob Scholz: We ordered our meal, the dining room wasnt busy, 45 minutes later, still didnt have our food. Asked the waitress about it and she said she would check. 10 minutes after that, still no food. Pair for our drinks and left.
