5 /5 Diane S: DiSalvos in Williamsport proved to be an exceptional dining choice on Saturday evening. Upon entering, we were struck by the elegant, multi-level space featuring refined linen table settings. Our seating in the kitchen area offered an engaging, behind-the-scenes perspective on the culinary teams expertise and the wood-fired ovens warmth.
Once seated, the refreshing Paloma cocktails and warm rolls with dipping oil complemented our exploration of the menu and evenings specials. The appetizers – a dozen fresh oysters and the innovative Duck Roll, blending duck confit, crispy cabbage, and Asian flavors – set the tone for an outstanding meal. We were already happy.
Our main courses, roasted chicken (with Thanksgiving type aromas) and homemade cheese ravioli with substantial meatballs, paired beautifully with the house red wine. We only ate half because we wanted dessert and glad we did. A decadent cheesecake and spumoni concluded the meal on a high note.
The place was warm and cozy. Cody, our attentive server, ensured a memorable experience. We departed content, with delicious leftovers, and look forward to returning.
