1 /5 Tandi Kashner: My other half and myself frequent Cracker Barrel on a weekend, never with any complaints. Until today. The service we received today was absolutely one of the worst and we will not be back. After waiting 25 minutes for a table, we were seated (party of 2) the 6 top next to us gave their food order and their waitress who was also ours came directly to us took our order and left. (Great!) 20 minutes pass the 6 top receives their food. 20 more minutes pass and we still do not have our order. 3 other tables that were seated after us were served and received food. While we are still sitting without ours. Our waitress knew we were waiting for entirely too long and decided to bring us a free appetizer card, upon her doing this I told her this was absolutely ridiculous that our order was taken the same time as the table beside us by the same waitress and yet here we wait. I told her we don’t want her free food nor do we want the food we’ve waited over an hour for now at this point. 5 minutes later the woman who seems to be their restaurant manager brings our food gives us a diluted apology and then proceeds to lie about how the kitchen can only go safe fast, yet our food was taken the same time as a 6 top and they had their check and leaving and we still didn’t receive our food. Don’t lie to my face and don’t walk away when I’m telling you about your terrible service. Train your manager to take appropriate action or get rid of her. Take responsibility or find someone that does.
