3 /5 LVVM: We recently visited Cedar Grill, which is located on a main avenue and offers a large parking lot and a spacious interior. The service was excellent—our server was an older woman, but she was very quick, attentive, and friendly. However, the restaurant itself feels outdated and could really use some renovations. The cleanliness left something to be desired as well.
As for the food, it was underwhelming. My husband ordered a basic breakfast of eggs and pancakes, which was just average. I, however, ordered a New York steak, and it was a disappointment. The meat was served cold and lacked flavor, which was surprising for a place that has “grill” in its name. I had asked for it medium, but it wasn’t cooked properly and tasted bland.
Overall, the friendly service couldn’t make up for the poor quality of the food and the outdated atmosphere. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for a great meal.
