Sandra Bradley An Oil City favorite. It may even be considered a historic site! We love to eat here every time we are in town. The meal balls and spaghetti are like no where else. I always eat the deluxe sub! And the pierogies are delicious!!

Karly Hannold Wonderful addition to the area. Building is beautiful. We love Cajun food and were so excited to see frog legs on the menu. Was hesitant about the buffalo sauce being on them but it was a really nice flavor combo. Steak was tender with excellent fries and chimichurri sauce. Husband wanted Jumbalaya but it had sold out, opted for the fried catfish and it was a fresh hot generous portion and even better adding some dry Cajun that was with the salt and pepper at the table. Beignets were tasty with a lovely espresso flavored cream on the side. Also tried the elderflower blackberry seltzer (love my seltzers) and ended up buying an entire case. Hope to see you guys stay here for many years to come will be back!

Art Been MANY years since I was there but its really gotten cleaned up and is really nice now! We stopped in around 4:00PM and I had the Philly Steak and my lady had one of their burgers. Both were great and came with fries. Nice place to go - will be going back!

Robert Fattler Oil city and surrounding areas need more places like this. I was only able to ever catch their pop ups at the events around the city and yesterday me and my wife said Yanno what we’re gonna go down and give the place a real go for breakfast. The meat lovers wrap was awesome, the homemade biscuits and sausage gravy was sooo good reminded me of my mom making it when it was younger and the kids loved the French toast. But you cannot talk about this place without mentioning the baked goods of course! We made sure to try multiple things from multiple different types of their brownie, the little cheesecake tarts, and some cookies and like I said before really reminded me of stuff my mom would make for birthdays or holidays they were so dang delicious along with the drinks they make we made sure to get multiple and really try them and they were all a hit and not ridiculous price wise. Along with the owner being so kind and involved and caring about her customers and that they have the best experience possible. I know this was all over the place, but seriously if you have not tried this place you are missing out on amazing food and baked goods and a great experience. You need to give this place a shot they will not disappoint.

Brenda Wise Really love this place, the soups are amazing. The person that takes care of the Open Door Cafe is a very kind hearted woman, and an amazing cook. There is also very friendly people that volunteer here. Stop in have a hot cup of coffee, ice tea or soda. You can get soup & a sandwich on Fridays. There open Monday, Wednesday & Friday 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Chris Schrecengost I saw an online recommendation for The Taco Shack. I happened to be in the area and decided to give it a try..I had the fried shrimp tacos and they were excellent. They were the best tacos Ive had in quite some time.

Tiger Lily & Tamarack What a find! Cozy inviting atmosphere draws you in and beckons you to sit and stay awhile. The baked goods are scrumptious with vegan and gluten free options. A vegan pumpkin black bean soup was on offer till 2pm, I was sad we just missed it. Can’t wait to try it another day. Sugar free (they have multiple syrup flavors) coffee and peach tea energized us. Super fun outdoor seating overlooks the river. What a perfect spot to spend a sunny Indian Summer afternoon. The staff wrapped us in kindness and ensured that this coffee shop is our new favorite. Thank you and we will be back!

c brand Now this is a bar. Dark ceiling, dark walls, jam packed with Americana decorations, 100% my kinda place. To be fair though I love bars and have really met few I didn’t like, but this one is worth the drive . They have great , friendly, quick and knowledgeable employees large drafts and reasonable prices. “But what about the food ?” , you say. Well I’m happy to tell you it’s excellent. Great wings, shrimp and cauliflower wings and I can highly recommend the black and blue and Maui waui sauces. Very , very good. I will definitely be back for another visit and soon too.

Erin Wanninger Scierka’s Tavern is an Oil City gem with incredible Polish food and the best beer selection in town. We love the vintage chairs and history infused throughout the space!
