Jasmine Johnson: Nothing compares to the experience I had here. The space is clean, calming, and welcoming—but what truly sets it apart is Maisha. She’s absolutely phenomenal. Her energy, guidance, and deep understanding of Bikram yoga makes the class feel personal and powerful. I booked a one-on-one session with her, and it was honestly transformative. Maisha tailored everything to my level, helped correct my form, and explained the “why” behind each posture in a way that really clicked. I left feeling stronger, more focused, and deeply motivated to keep coming back. If youre even thinking about trying Bikram yoga—or just want to deepen your practice—Fire Life Yoga is the place.

Emma Sager: I saw Brittany for a 90 minute hot stone massage a few weeks ago. She was phenomenal. She took the time to talk with me before the massage to get to know me and asked about any concerns I may have, and how I like massages done. Throughout the massage she checked in to make sure everything was comfortable, and then afterwards we talked together about future sessions to help my muscles. She made me feel nothing but safe and welcomed, and I look forward to my next visit! The entire building is cozy, warm and welcoming and I hope to try their other services and events soon.

    House of Yoga - York
Lydia Thompson: Since coming to HOY, I have found a sense of balance, not only in the studio, but in my everyday life! Yoga was something I didn’t know I needed, but can’t get enough of now. The teachers are top notch and help you improve in each class. I’m really happy to have stumbled upon this studio and bring my friends who have also come to love going!!
Stick N Move Boxing - York
Christopher Wilson: I cant rate the place in regards to the interior... because it never got to the point of going in. Hours are extremely limited, and the cost is pretty high for those limited hours. For anyone who doesnt work first shift, or not at all. It Is impossible to make use of this program. Would haven given it a chance if hours were worth the cost of membership. The people seem friendly though.
Compel Fitness - Queensgate - York
Ashley Crater: I have trained with Compel Fitness for almost a year now. The trainers (worked with Alex and Bryce) make me feel comfortable in the gym and hold me to a higher standard, higher than I thought I could achieve. But here it is a year later and I feel better in my own skin, more confident and not to mention the stress relief the gym provides me! As a mom of two little and working in a career with full time hours and swing shifts, NOTHING CHANGES IF NOTHING CHANGES. You can meet your goals and Compel will be there to help!

    Altitude Trampoline Park - York
Kristen Haddigan: Had my sons 6th birthday party here on 10/19/25. Multiple attractions were closed due to staffing is how it was explained to me. This makes little sense from my perspective, as there was at least one other party there with ours. When you have parties scheduled, wouldnt you think to have enough staff to accommodate?? I mean people are spending upward of $400 to visit. I have a trampoline in my backyard.. which is essentially all that was available to the kids on this day.. and the dodgeball. Thats it. Basketball was closed. Slides were closed. And the other attraction in the back left corner was closed. Ridiculous! There was also literally no guidance or instruction from staff on timeline or expectations of the party. I had to go up to the cou ter twice to ask questions. No acknowledgement of the birthday boy at all, aside from a white board with his name on it outside of the room. There was no trash can for our assigned room. We had to find one and bring it in ourselves. Literally ALL of the railings were sticky. Not just one spot, but every railing. And we personally witnessed a female staff member using the restroom and failing to wash her hands afterward. Absolutely disgusting. I would NOT recommend this venue at all and we will not be returning. There are many other trampoline parks that outshine Altitude!!
