    MASS F.I.T. - Philadelphia
Katrina Knisely: I’ve been working out (weight training) at Mass Fit for the past year, 2-3/week. Kara is an amazing trainer — she’s super safety-conscious and always makes sure I’m moving correctly. She’s also great at offering smart adaptations when something needs to be adjusted, so I still get a solid workout without overdoing it. On top of that she is professional, conscientious and a joy to be around. Every session feels supportive and effective, which makes a huge difference. Having the physical therapy office onsite is super convenient too.
Philly Fitness on Ridge - Philadelphia
Nia Bright: While the gym itself is nice and small, my review is based on the hassle of trying to cancel my membership. I called on September 14th to request a cancellation and was told I needed to email the manager, Taya. I sent the email that same day, but as of September 19th, I’ve received no response. I followed up with another call on September 17th and again today, September 19th. Both times I was told that the cancellation wasn’t in the system, even though it should have been. I was also told (both times) that someone would put it into the system and follow up with a confirmation call but that still hasn’t happened. So good luck if you ever try to cancel your membership!

Erin Kelley: Located in the financial district, this gym can be a bit tricky to find. The address is clear, but the entrance isnt well marked—its on the second floor of a corporate high-rise, so look for the Citizens Bank ATM. The layout feels a bit unusual, likely due to space constraints, but theyve managed to fit in a good selection of equipment. I was able to find everything I needed, and the street views from several spots are a nice bonus for people-watching. All the equipment is in good shape, clean, and features personal entertainment systems. The members were all polite, and the front desk staff, Dennis and Maya, were both incredibly helpful and friendly. The showers are large, though youll need to bring your own soap. Lockers require you to bring a lock, but they are available for purchase. A nice feature: the lockers in the main area have USB-A ports for charging your phone while you work out. On a final note, I hope the brand will eventually add stand-alone squat racks, barbells, and heavier dumbbells and kettlebells. But for most people (and for me most of the time), the current setup is more than workable.
    Anytime Fitness - Philadelphia
Albert Fuentes: I’m having a great time at this gym! It’s exactly what I need in a gym and more. What more? Well the staff Michael and Sabrina are very friendly and they always ask me if I need any help with anything. The facility is clean and I always have a machine available when I need one. Strongly recommended! A sauna would make this place even better!!

Caroline K: Well I just went to this gym on Sunday to check it out and I was like a kid in a candy shop. All kinds of cool equipment that other gyms near me just dont have. I had a field day. I was lucky to go on a day they were offering a 3 day pass for 3.00. Sadly the gym is far for me and a too expensive for my liking. But if it was closer Id consider it to join. Coming from 42 years of lifting and a competitive bodybuilder past, I appreciate a hard core gym. This was it. With cool lighting and mirrors EVERYWHERE - a bodybuilders dream. lol. They have everything weight and machine wise you could need. Bathrooms : cool as hell. I went on a Sunday so it wasnt real crowded or anything. My only complaint would be the music. Definitely close to night club loud and not my taste - but I was able to hear my music through my earbuds. Thank God. I wish the owners would look into finding a location to open one up near me. ( Ardmore / Havertown / Drexel Hill / Overbrook/ Bryn Mawr .... come on guys ! PLEASE !!!

Jazz T: City Fitness isnt a gym its a social experiment. For a premium $200 per month, you dont get amenities you get existential questions about value. The Pool in Northern Liberties is truly special because its rarely available. Enjoy the thrill of showing up on a hot summer Sunday only to find it spontaneously closed for a "private event," or because its a minor holiday. This builds character. The towel policy is equally revolutionary as you must bring your own. That damp cloth you haul in is your final reminder that you pay Equinox prices for a high school locker room experience. But the true genius is Revive. Want to use the state-of-the-art CryoFusion Pod or Normatec recovery gear? Excellent! First, undertake the mandatory one-mile post-workout pilgrimage from Northern Liberties to Fishtown. They cleverly call this the "Recovery Hike." If your goal is fitness mixed with inconvenience and logistical complexity, this is an unrivaled 5-star operation. Bravo on the premium letdown.
The Sporting Club at The Bellevue - Philadelphia
Jamie Gullen: Joining the Sporting Club has been life changing for me! It’s so much more than just a gym- the amenities really make this a great value- things like hot tub, cold plunge, sauna, rooftop deck, cafe, workspaces, etc. Also the sheer quantity and variety of classes means I can always find a class I want to do and fit it into my busy schedule. I’ve been a member of many other gyms, and I’ve never gone as consistently and got as much out of the experience as I have with the Sporting Club. Highly recommend!
Philly Fitness of Overbrook Park - Philadelphia
M B: Big open gym. Lots of equipment. Lots of room. Never too busy. Well maintained and clean Loss of 1 star is for the following reasons: 1. Not all but There are a few trainers here (I don’t believe are employed by the gym) training clients who feel they have a priority over gym members. 2. They allow filming. Too many people with cameras set up taking too much time on equipment. I once was asked to move my workout because the lighting was better in the area I was. I did not move. Another time a camera was set up between the 2 towers on the turf and I received nasty looks because I did see the camera between the rowers and the guys working out 10 yards away. I know they won’t do it but I would love to see filming banned in the gym
    Earn Everything Gym - Philadelphia
Timothy McMonagle: Gym is super clean and has everything you could need out of a gym. It is never overly crowded and has a good gym community who keep it clean and organized. No one taking unnecessary amount of time on a machine. And Donnie takes good care of anyone and everyone and ensures people who don’t take care of the equipment will be addressed with respect.
