1 /5 Jenny: Disappointing experience to say the least. After searching online for petite sweater dresses, I decided to visit Talbots on Bath Pike to know what would feel nice and fit me well. After being helped into a fitting room with several neutral pieces, I tried on everything and decided against all. I got dressed and departed with my coat on and sweater draped over my arm. Immediately one of the women went into the fitting room and I thought "as she should, to retrieve all the items Id just tried on." I tried not to make anything out of the second lady b lining towards the front table and circling me. I tried to gather my words when she asked if things worked out and I said no. But I was disappointed when she followed up with "What about that?" gesturing to the sweater I wore in and left off so I wouldnt be too hot under my puffer coat. I promptly showed her the tag of a different store and opened my coat to show my t-shirt. She said "You wore that in? It looks like something we carry." SMH Nevermind the implication that I was blatantly walking out with a stolen item for all to see. I went in looking for quality of which I did not find. What I found was overpriced garments that made me feel as if Id suffocate because of the itchy materials. What I got was to watch an employee embarrass herself while ignorantly engaging me and causing an embarrassing experience; and she could attest that in spite of this I continued to graciously carryon the conversation she started. Conclusion: I came in with money to spend not trying to steal ugly clothes & in the future I certainly wont spend a penny in Talbots.
