5 /5 Tess Baldwin: I’m really disappointed with the inconsistency at this location. The store advertises accepting brands like Gymshark, Athleta, and Coach, yet my items from those exact brands were denied. I was told they “aren’t current,” even though the Coach purse retails for $500 and the athletic wear was purchased less than two years ago.
What makes this even more confusing is seeing SHEIN pieces on the shelves while genuine, high-quality brand-name items are turned away. And to add to the frustration, I’ve brought in the exact same bag of items a month apart—denied the first time, suddenly accepted the next. It genuinely feels random.
The buying standards do not match what the store claims, and there’s clearly no consistent process. I’m more than willing to provide documentation and receipts for every single item, because the decisions truly make no sense.
I also submitted feedback through the store survey today and I’m still waiting to hear back.
I would like someone from management to reach out to me directly about this.
** And just to add to the confusion — this is the kind of item currently being sold on the racks (a visibly worn T-shirt with deodorant stains all over it). Yet my name-brand items, with no stains, no rips, and in excellent condition, were denied.**
Make it make sense.
**update: Gretchen called me personally and clarified the sell and buy process and even offered to look at the items herself. This is how you do business! Changing my stats based on the professionalism**
