1 /5 K Shaffer: This place is just so awful. I went here a few months ago and walked as close as the first rack, and someone asks me if I need help. I politely said no thank you. I didnt yet move from that spot and another girl, acting like lthe snotty HBIC, walks over and rapid fires questions at me like a toddler. Why am I shoppng? For what occassion? Where do I work? What do I do? She was very rude and cut me off while speaking. You think by forcing me to engage you, that you will make a sale???? She diidnt give off genuine "I want to help vibes." Its like she just wanted to know why I was in "her" store. It was so unbelievably insensitive. Regardless, I was still nice to her!!! But she must not have liked that I sent her away, so they sent someone else over. 3 people at one rack in like 5 minutes?!!?! Leave people alone!!!! If I need the "expertise" of a minimum wage sales associate, I will seek you out. But you look nothing more than like pestulant children trying to make a sale. Your clothes will sell themselves.
I decided to wait 3 months before returning.
Let me tell you.....I get to the first rack. The same volatile girl came over. Trying to force me to engage her. This time I was the one who cut her off twice. Because she doesnt take no for an answer. She looked like a pissed off toddler and walked away.
I had to HURRY and grab things fast before I could get attacked again. I walked over to the unattended dressing room area. There was only one other shopperr using a room. All the other doors were open so I just went in to one. Seconds later, Im topless and vulnerable, and some woman runs into the area shouting at me. Trying to make me yell back my name to give her to display on the door and to go shop for me. It felt liike I was a mother who couldnt get a second alone in the bathroom. I didnt respond, so she tried again!!! I dont speak to strangers while Im naked. Its best practice. So I got dressed and left.
I dont know what your M.O. is but not everyone who steps foot into your store wants styled by Gen Zers who were never taught how to "people." You all are treating this place like a damned circus. Believe it or not, some people know what they want without you telling them.
And as a side note, let me remind you, that not every woman loves shopping. Some women hate their bodies and cant fit anything. For some women this is a painful experience. And we do not need endlessly harassed. I encourage you to have some sensitivity and people skills and learn how to genuinely listen.
Now this will be two sales you missed out on. I usually give three chancss, but not this time. I will tell everyone to run.
