5 /5 Donald Girod: I needed a pair of pants so that I could look relatively presentable at a memorial service in Virginia and did not plan ahead well. As a result I had to do something while driving the 500 miles to Williamsburg. Bradford was very early on the trip, only 35 miles from home, though I had never stopped there while driving through (many times). You see, it is in Pennsylvania, and I am from New York. Red state, blue state, you know. Not a good way to make decisions and choices. Also, I thought of it as one big oil refinery, which is partially accurate but also unfair. They have a mens store, pretty much a rara avis in a world dominated by Walmart and Target and Dollar General. (This is WESTERN New York, you understand).
So, Mans World is an extremely friendly, pleasant store, with good stuff and some black pants and a very friendly person at the counter. I rarely need a mens store, my wardrobe being dominated by Wrangler and Carhartt, things readily available at Walmart, etc., but sometimes I do, and if it comes up again I will go south to Bradford rather than north to Buffalo. I think everybody should make an effort to patronize the remaining small businesses in this world when they can.
