JCPenney - Uniontown (PA)

1 /5 Jean “Jean” W: Five days before Christmas I was trying to make a return. Two registers open in the entire store with 15 people waiting in line. I went to another set of registers. No one there, either, just a sign saying to go to the jewelry department. I waited there behind another customer and when it was my turn another customer who came in after me to look at jewelry. The sale lady ignored me completely til I asked why. She said that as long as anyone wanted to look at jewelry she had to wait on them first. Why direct customers to jewelry? Why only 2 registers to cover the whole store? And the women’s dressing rooms have all been closed for about a year, so you have to use one of the men’s dressing rooms. Why not designate one of these for women. This store is a mess and run like some low rent discount place.

3 /5 Bobbi Gallentine: The store itself was very nice. I always love the quality of the clothing and great prices. I did have an issue with a cashier. I am a pretty laid back person so I was caught off guard. I didnt get any names unfortunately. I went to the register and the cashier told me I could get a discount by using the App on my phone. There was no one behind me so I pulled it up and I did get a discount. Next the cashier told me when I get up to the register that I need to have the App up because Christmas will be a busy time and she said she wouldnt have time to mess with people like me. I understood what she was saying but I thought maybe there would be a nicer way to phrase what she said.

1 /5 The Glendennings: I wish I could leave less than 1 star. Horrible customer service and worse prices. That’s if they’re even open. I showed up once, the business hours sign said they were open, but they were closed. I saw people inside. One time I bought a shirt that was supposed to be on sale, the sale sign was literally next to the shirt on the same shelf, described the shirt perfectly, but I was told that the sign didn’t matter and the shirt was full price. I found the same $70 shirt at P-Taks for $50, full price. I remember when JC Penny was a respectable place to shop. This place needs to close more than any other store in Uniontown.

5 /5 Amanda Grayson: I did an online order here and did a pickup curbside super nice customer service they kept me updated they entire time didnt take long and was such a low price for the item I wanted that everywhere else wanted 25 dollars more (* billie perfume no 1) 3.4 oz. so very positive experience. ✨️
