4 /5 David Silverman: Customer service was fine and professional. Wait was maybe 15 minutes for an assessment of the items I wanted to sell. I was prepared for the low offer but honestly, they have to make $$$ to pay the rent and keep the lights on. Selling on Ebay and shipping may have yielded me more $$$ but the time is the issue. Note all my items were name brands and very clean, pressed, and in like new condition/barely used. Otherwise, I would not bother to waste your time as most everything I saw was being rejected for one reason or another. Some nice things on the racks if youre in the market.

2 /5 Andrew Schmon: I visited Buffalo Exchange in Center City with some items I’d purchased a few months earlier, hoping to sell them. To my surprise, none were accepted - the staff didn’t give much explanation, which felt odd. On the flip side, browsing the shop as a buyer, I saw used T-shirts priced at $20-$25 - for a resale store that seemed steep to me. The store is in a convenient downtown location and the staff were cordial, but if you’re trying to sell items for decent value, or buy used pieces for good deals, I found better alternatives in the suburbs (like Plato’s Closet). Overall: decent concept, but my experience didn’t match the expectations — two stars.

4 /5 Mari: First time here and liked it. It could be a bit more organized and/or made to be more shopper friendly but had a mix of clothes, shoes, and accessories, etc. Prices werent off the charts-at least for shoes and purses. More than Goodwill but not crazy. Good prices for well made leather handbags and a decent selection of interesting shoes-men and women. Assume it is hit or miss like any thrift store. Didnt really price the clothes but had a ton of racks to pick through. Finally landed a pair of stacked Converse Ive always wanted for $32 in excellent condition. Decent vibe and staff were helpful. I would go out of my way to shop here again, just for thrifty fun. My only issue is the lighting in general, particularly on the shelves along the walls- its hard to see the merchandise. If I had more time I might have found other some stellar finds.

3 /5 Anna-Marie Belfon: This used to be my favorite place! Wait times to sell are absurd. They need to be upfront about what items they’re interested in buying. Just sat for almost an hour with a full bag (laundry load size) of good clothing, for them to take one item. Complete waste of time. Good for buying clothes, but sell elsewhere. Might not come back after this experience.

1 /5 Matt Jayden: Ive watched employees whisper and make disrespectful comments to the customers. When selling to them they only seem to buy from white customers while the minority is always turned down even when in great condition. Its a very uncomfortable setting and they are very stuck up. They will talk nice but treat you horrible when it comes to servicing you with what you need. I didnt believe it when another person told me about the discrimination but i believe it now.
