American Rescue Workers Thrift Store, Lock Haven - Lock Haven (PA)

1 /5 Carson Tolomay: i’ve never had any problems with the american rescue workers thrift stores but this specific one. every time i walk in there i’m either being watched or followed or both. and every time i check out they ask if i’m in their system for a discount. i give them my phone number then they interrogate me and ask what my name is to see if it’s actually my phone number. i really have to go through all of that just to get a couple dollars off. today after the lady at checkout asked me what my name is to see if it matches up with the phone number she said “just checking” what i really want to know is why you feel the need to check?? don’t recommend coming here unless you want to be followed while you shop.

1 /5 Nathan Bow: I see a lot of mixed reviews and I have been shopping here for years. The 1 lady specifically that works there is always so rude to me. I don’t normally let these things bother me but I notice she’s always super sweet to the people she either knows or other senior ladies. That’s all okay, I just think it’s a little ignorant. I always take my hangers off and I never bother them with questions or requests. I simply buy my cloths and other items and check out and leave. I fix the hangers for them and I even clean up after myself and she’s always so nasty. Not telling you not to go here, just be prepared to be judged and talked about when you leave.

2 /5 jeanne fantaski: Went into the store approx. 15 min. before 5. Was told as I entered that they close in 5 min. Told the clerk I was only checking for a friend to see if a certain chair was still there, which I saw immediately upon entering, but my phone wasnt in my purse to call her, so after looking around for just a couple min, I went back out to my car where I found my phone which showed the time to actually still only about 10 min. before 5, so called my friend who said to go ahead and get it, but when I got to the door it was locked. I yelled in to the clerk (holding up my phone) telling her it was only 4:51 & that I just wanted to get the chair. She shook her head no, pointed up to the clock on the wall and said they go by THAT clock. How crazy is that? Since when doesnt "we close at 5" mean ACTUALLY 5 OClock?? instead of what some old clock on their wall says??unbelievable! Never heard of anything so ridiculous!

5 /5 lily: i love this store. They have great things for great prices. I go every chance I get,and it has become one of my favorite stores. The staff is also very friendly. I highly recommend you shop here.
