4 /5 Ray Smelko: The bar experience was great before getting sat for dinner in this well established authentic Italian restaurant. The service was excellent, the server was very polite and well knowledged about what was on the menu. The fried zucchini is excellent and the trio of lasagna, chicken parmesan, and ravioli was the best! The sauce is superb as I make my own occasionally

2 /5 Kimberly Rothert: This was my favorite place for fresh pasta and their lasagna is to die for. But yesterday completely changed my mind. We were there around 1:30 and ordered the Trio. Everything was cold and I mean barely warm at all and the sauce had a slight scorced taste. The waitress really needs to be re-trained as well. I always loved the food here but will definitely not return any time soon.its sad to see a popular place have their food and customer service go downhill.

5 /5 Brittany Fagan: I grew up coming here with my family and now I stop by atleast once a month. I dine in and get take out. My favorite thing on the menu is the veal parmigiana and homemade spaghetti. Everything is always consistent, the staff friendly and the atmosphere makes you want to come back. I highly recommend if you live nearby to add this to your list of places to frequent!

5 /5 Dennis E.: Much has changed in McKeesport over the years. But Tillies remains a true iconic place where time seems to have been bottled and preserved perfectly. In business for over 60 years, it was a place I fondly remembered from my childhood. I took my Wife and kids to dinner there last night. Walking into the place was like stepping back in time. We all ordered the Trio with the exception of my Son who got the Lobster stuffed Cod. The sauce and bread was exactly as I remembered. I could make a meal out of just that! The lasagna remains simply nothing less than incredible!! And their Chicken Parm is for me - the absolute BEST made! Their meat ravioli is also amazing! Kristy B was our server. The McKeesportese in her voice was a sound of Homecoming for me! If Italian is what youre looking for - Tillies is THE PLACE for you!

4 /5 In Christ: First time here, even though we have driven past it 1000 times never knew it was there. Definitely an old time Italian eatery. The shaved fried zucchini was the best I have ever had, paper thin, crispy and delicious. The service was a bit slow but they were busy. I had to get the Lasagna, if you’re gonna say you have the best well, I have to see. It was the entire size of the plate, 6”x6” square loaded in sauce it wasn’t very hot, just warm but was good. In my opinion not the best but good. The bread is absolutely delicious! We will go back and try a few other items. My wife had the stuffed Manicotti and her’s was piping hot and delicious she said. We both had plenty to take home for another meal. We also had the wedding soup and that’s was great, hot and the little meatballs tasted like sausage- yummy.
