Shinjiru Ramen and Bar - Wilkes-Barre (PA)

5 /5 Jeff Wieland: Shoyu ramen - delicious and perfect on a colder winter day (think French onion soup base with this dish) The Japanese French fries - absolutely fantastic as well. Crispy crinkle fries topped with a "yumyum" spicy mayo and a dash of seasonings. Tokoyaki - octopus fried balls were also delectable, very soft inside, crispy outside with flavorful fish flakes all over. Service was great, friendly and very accommodating. This is our first time here but will not be our last!

5 /5 Binu Rana: Tried Shinjuru Ramen Shop in Wilkes-Barre and loved it! We started with the Bao bun, monster roll, and spicy edamame: everything was fresh and flavorful. The donburi and tonkotsu ramen were rich, comforting, and absolutely satisfying. A great spot for delicious Japanese comfort food.

5 /5 Janine Garcia: My boyfriend and I decided to give Shinjiru Ramen a try for one of the new places we go to for the new year and it did not disappoint!! For an appetizer we tried the fried rice spicy tuna and the shrimp tempura bao bun. The appetizers on their own were so delicious! For my entree, I got the Spicy garlic tonkatsu ramen and my boyfriend got the Miyu black garlic ramen. I tried both dishes and they were absolutely amazing. Rich in flavor and definitely worth the price for the portion. This is a definite must try for the Wilkes barre area!

5 /5 Nina S: First time and definitely won’t be the last ! Came into the restaurant and was greeted and seated right away . Our server Stuart (bartender), was so kind and friendly. The restaurant is very family friendly but also gives date night vibes due to it’s illuminating bar. The food was 100/10 ! To start we ordered shrimp tempura buns , the buns the sauce the shrimp tempura all was perfect. For our entrees we ordered the spicy pork ramen and the chicken rice bowl which was split between me and my husband and we could not stop eating lol. We ordered miso ramen and chicken with rice off the kids menu for our 2 year old (who is very picky btw ) and he ate with no complaints . For dessert we had the mocha cake which was rich and light another 100/10. Definitely will be our new go to place!

5 /5 Rich: Very beautiful interior. Staff is very attentive and friendly. The pork chashu bao buns are to die for. I also recommend the monster chasu roll. The ebi tempura yakisoba is good and the seasoned eggs are amazing!
