5 /5 Trina Williams: Plaza Azteca in the middle of Altoona was such a great find! In a town without a ton of restaurant options, it was clearly the place to be. The space is decorated in a modern, bright, and inviting style that makes you feel welcome right away. The staff was friendly and attentive, and we loved the table-side guacamole—made fresh right in front of us and absolutely delicious. What really stood out for me was the menu. They had more than a couple vegan options, which automatically earns them an extra star in my book. It’s not always easy to find that in smaller towns, so I was pleasantly surprised. I don’t know when I’ll be passing through Altoona again, but if I do, Plaza Azteca will definitely be a stop for me.

5 /5 Adra Snowden: Went here for the first time. I really enjoyed the food. Super yummy. I’m picky about food, but what we got was super yummy. Waiter was nice, came to table fair amount times. (I like when come over so many times to make sure we’re okay lol, not to little not to much hahaha) was fast as well

5 /5 Janelle Dively: A+ .. Such great service here and the food is packed full of all kinds of authentic flavors too! The guacamole is the best Ive had in a very long time. Queso is a must have!! Love the atmosphere here and everyone is so nice and it is very clean here, great visit and will be back again!

My nieces and my husband had the burritos (which were HUGE!!! and delicious!!), I had the pineapple stuffed with peppers, steak, chicken and onions which was pretty good as well. Ivis was our server and he was AMAZING! Super attentive, patient and very welcoming; was always making sure we were ok and had everything we needed. Brought our good extra quick as well. We couldnt have asked for anyone better!
