Marlins Sub Shop - Sunbury (PA)

1 /5 Jim Tanaiewski: This was my first and last time ordering from here. It was 530 pm on a Monday. I call and after a few rings hear it pick up, but all I hear is someone clearly taking an order. Ok its dinner time, youre busy, I get it, but dont say hello please hold or anything right, just let me listen to background noise for 5 minutes. I ordered a plain pizza, fries, a pizza roll, and a blt sub. The pizza was skimpy and discolored, the fries undercooked and soggy, the "pizza roll" was just a roll cut in half with cheese and sauce..not quite what I expected but not false advertisement either..would have been fine if it was good. It just wasnt. Poor quality. 2/10. Only because the suv was good, but as a sub shop, you would expect better. Do not recommend.

1 /5 Adele Vaverchak: What happened to this once great sub shop??? Came in Mon. Aug 28th at 6pm Ordered two subs dry with regular mayo on the side without the sugar in it. Got the sugar mayo anyway and charged 50 cents extra for it. Roast beef sub was over cooked and dry, had hardly any meat on it, and missing the tomato that was ordered. How can you screw up a roast beef with lettuce and tomato sub???? BLT was no better. Worst sandwiches ever. No napkins or forks for the potato salad, yet they gave us 4 straws and we didnt even get drinks. Only people in the place at all. How do you go from fantastic to poor in two years????

5 /5 Richard Noecker: I havent been here in years, over 15 years to be more exact. I used to stop here on the way from Selinsgrove to Shamokin to visit my Dad. I love subs, and this is comfort food for me. I used to go with basic meat and cheese, but decided to go with a cheesesteak on my latest visit. I didnt realize the "sauce" was marinara or I would have said "no thanks", but it was still pretty good, and very filling. I hope it isnt another 15 years before I find the occassion to stop by again.

1 /5 Vince Vedeci: Honestly, the place used to be great. I remember coming home from the Sunbury middle school as a kid and Grabbing a root beer at the counter, maybe a sandwich. Nowadays, just like everyone else, the rose their prices by a few dollars and also started skimping on the food; so badly in fact that that single chicken finger is like two or three dollars, Happy five dollars for like 12 corn nuggets. The same that you could get in a frozen bag mine you’re not like their homemade or special in any way. Of course I appreciate the place for being there for so long and it’s nice to have in there, but I rarely go because it’s just not worth it for a couple slices of meat on the sub for five dollars + , small hoagie it’s just absurd. Subway puts on more than that.

5 /5 Terry Hubley: Rolls are not homemade but they were as soft and fresh as could be, I had the steak sub. Old diner atmosphere, service was good older women server could had been a little more nicer,but my mother wasnt the nicest person so I was used to it.
