1 /5 Kelly Bannasch: My husband and I have been frequenting this place for about a decade; it has changed hands since we first started coming here. Since the new owner took over the food has been of mostly consistent quality, and a few new menu options have been added. This review reflects our disappointment with the bartender/wait staff held over since the change of hands. On more than one occasion they have been unable to properly place a simple order in the system, and as of tonight I have had enough. We came out tonight after having avoided the place for several months (due to horrendous service and cold food the last time we dined here.) We prefer locally owned places to chain restaurants, so we decided to give it another go. What a mistake. The same server was tending bar, and besides barely being cordial, she could not manage to place a simple request in the system for well-done fresh cut fries. When I brought this to the staffs attention and asked them to drop the fries in the fryer again please, no apology was offered. She just stated she did not hear me say "well-done", deflecting blame. This whole situation could have been avoided if she did not try to memorize our order rather than writing it down and reading it back to confirm. This is a common practice in many restaurants. I hope they decide to implement it here, but we definitely will not be back to find out if they did.
