I appreciate how organized everything is, from check-in to classes, and it always feels like a welcoming place to work out or unwind. I’m especially excited about open swim! It’s one of the things I look forward to the most, and I can’t wait to take advantage of it. Whether you’re looking to exercise, relax, or get involved in different programs, the Greensburg YMCA is definitely worth checking out.

    Rachael Pozik: Kilo-Mike CrossFit is the best! The environment is super welcoming and great for all fitness levels. Dustin, the owner, is awesome — knowledgeable, friendly, and always makes sure you’re improving safely. The workouts are challenging but fun, and the community is really supportive. I’m so glad I found this place!

    I’m not a cat: My son got the run around about canceling his membership I was looking for a gym and happened across this one. I read the reviews and I remembered how difficult it was for him to cancel his membership. Apparently it wasn’t just him after reading the reviews. Seems to happen a lot. No thank you. I don’t need the hassle. There are other gyms that don’t have these practices.

    Heather Patton: I’ve been a member of Motive Fit in Irwin since February. I can’t recommend this gym enough! The owner, Cody, is kind, respectful and positive and can usually be found greeting everyone by name as they come into the gym. All the coaches are amazing and knowledgeable. They help to modify any exercise while also pushing you to go out of your comfort zone to get stronger. All of the members are friendly and helpful to new members and we have become each others’ cheerleaders. There are class times throughout each day that are convenient for days I work and those that I’m off. The new rejuvenation room is the perfect way to recover and relax after a tough class!

    Emma Armstrong: The BEST gym around! I’ve worked with both Tyler and Dylan for over 8 years and they helped me grow tremendously as an athlete and person. They are both very knowledgeable and caring. Always a positive and welcoming gym environment! Both open gym members and those who do personal training have all the equipment needed to do a full body work out. You won’t find a better gym anywhere else. I think anyone looking for a gym should go here!

    Matt Hankinson: To anyone who is thinking about trying BJJ or Combat Sports, you should go for it! And Pennsylvania Combat Sports (PACS) is the place to be! Joining PACS has been a positive, life-changing experience for me. In the past, I was shy, lacked confidence, and was looking for an outlet to help me feel better about myself. I was also looking for a challenge to help myself grow as a man, father, and individual. I was able to find and fulfill this challenge when I found PACS. When I initially started at PACS, I began with their BJJ 101 classes. The 101 classes are a fantastic way to ease into the art, while also getting yourself into better shape and building mental fortitude. I enjoyed and benefited from these classes so much that I eventually started their Striking 101 and MMA 101 classes as well. Since joining, I’ve competed, earned my blue belt (an achievement I am very proud of), started sparring regularly, and most importantly, made a bunch of great friends along the way. I can’t say enough about the skills I have learned and the mental/physical benefits PACS has brought to my life! These days, I feel like a more well-balanced man who is motivated to continue bettering myself. A lot of it has to do with the tradition and stability that this program has welcomed into my life. I can’t thank Professor Casey and all the other professors and coaches enough for continuing to help me grow! You’re all the best!
