Planet Fitness - Pittsburgh

Christopher Collins: I drove 23 miles to this location, expecting to get a workout while I was out of town. However, upon arrival, I found that the facility is still under construction—no signage indicating that it will be a Planet Fitness, just the familiar brand colors. Nowhere online or on maps did it mention that this location is not yet open, which led to a frustrating waste of time. If the owners care about potential customers—especially those traveling and looking for a dependable workout spot—they should make an effort to clearly communicate the location’s status. A simple update online stating that the facility is "under construction" or "coming soon" would save out-of-town visitors from unnecessary inconvenience. Because of this lack of transparency, I wasn’t able to work out today, nor do I have time to drive to another location before heading to work. I hope Planet Fitness improves its communication in the future to prevent this issue for other travelers.

Brendan McGuire: Fantastic Gym. Owner Monty is a great guy. Everyone is very nice. The facility is super clean and there are a ton of weight machines. Super welcoming environment for all levels of lifters and fitness.

orbx: I’ve been coming here for a few years now, so take my word for it — this gym is truly outstanding. The staff are absolutely wonderful, especially the older lady who works the night shifts. She treats everyone like family and has the kindest, most caring energy. The entire team is friendly, professional, and genuinely understanding. The gym itself is always spotless, and the equipment is top-notch. If you’re looking for a welcoming, comfortable, and positive environment to work out in, this is the perfect place for you.

Eric Polski: This gym is perfect for any boxer, amateur to professional ranks. Also, if you are looking to lose weight, get in shape and use boxing for cardio, the trainers are the best around. Open to all ages and sizes.

Calvary Iron - Monroeville

Timbo Slice: I was in town for work for a long while and needed a good gym to go to. Myself and several of my co-workers found this place and it was everything we wanted and needed, plus some. The owner was awesome and very professional and made sure we were taken care of. The gym is hard-core, no nonsense. Get in there, get a killer workout in, crawl out. Next time I have to be in Pittsburgh again for a long stay, Ill definitely be back at this place.

Vanessa Rae Beggs: This place is amazing I’ve been taking my daughter there for three years and she has met some of her best friends there and improved a lot. The coaches are so nice and understanding and helps them be their best self. The gym may not be the fanciest, but the community definitely is. I 100% recommend going here.
