    Jaelee Fabyanic: Wonderful gym with friendly staff! It is a family locally owned gym and everyone Ive met has been very friendly. They have a lot of GREAT back equipment (Nautilus plate loaded lat pull-down & nautilus plate loaded row!!). They have multiple rooms and the space is very big! I would recommend to anyone in the area looking for a gym. Day pass is only $8 so check it out if youd like to try out a new gym with incredible equipment.

    Carman Zimmer: If I could rate this place 0 stars for child care I absolutely would. If a child is sick they let them stay. If a child has pink eye they let them stay. If a child has HFM they let them stay. If one child is sick THEY PUT ALL OTHER KIDS AT RISK. This is absolutely unacceptable. Proper hand washing and cleaning are NOT used. Baby wipes are not the cure all. PROPER HYGIENE NEEDS TO BE IMPLEMENTED.

    Heidi Sprong: I have been going to Studio Fit since they opened and I can’t imagine my life without it. If you want to try group fitness this is the place to go. Everyone is always welcoming and always willing to help you adapt exercises to your body’s abilities with no judgment. I feel like the other members have become my workout family and help to encourage me to challenge myself.

    Sam: Literally got kicked off a weight lifting machine today by an older woman who just kept meanly glaring at me like it was illegal to use the machines. Instead of telling me there was a class for older adults that use the machines (which isnt posted anywhere upfront, I guess its posted in the furthest corner in the back of the gym) she went and had the front desk person force me to leave the machine and not even allow me to finish my last 10 reps. She was so angry that I was back there she didnt even use the machine she originally chose, she walked away from it forcefully walking past my face where I was on a different machine even before class started. George was nice enough to get me the schedule upon exiting the gym after this nonsense. Felt like less of a member today than someone else even though I am paying every month for a membership to be kicked off a machine and have someone act like its not acceptable to even be in "her area" even before class started. If there was somewhere else to go that had the same hours as this gym I most definitely would. Some of the machines do not have doubles so if youre going to have members running the gym or the equivalent of elementary school telling the teacher that someone cant use the equipment...instead of just asking me to finish up because they would like to use the machine.... Its time for some doubles of every piece of equipment. In addition, some signs that state you absolutely cannot be in this area during class or sectioning it off. Just because older women hang out there or have cliques there does not mean there shouldnt be some discretion to other members about what is going on.
    Outdoor Fitness Station - Oil City
    Gus (Wolf): Sit up bench slides and despite having instructions I still wasnt sure I was doing things right. Pull ups bar kinda has weird gaps on it wasnt sure the correct place to grab Im sure it depends on arm length but it was kinda confusing. Also the goofy ladder thing never has made sense to me and never will no matter where I see it. To be fair on the instructions board there is a QR code to scan to watch videos of demonstrations but I dont have a phone card currently so I wasnt able to. Im not a very athletic person but Im not sure anyone whos overly athletic is gonna choose this over a normal gym. Also google maps direction to this place shows you to go up the street above it and then walk down the steep dangerous hill in the woods from the street above to get to it lolll. If you wanna get here go down to the Marina, if with car park car in the parking lot if with bicycle you can just ride it there. Its down the Marina bike path just a bit past the start to the left its not missable. I was riding my bike there my first time going and I wasnt sure where to go cause the instructions were telling me but I mean I basically just assumed it would be down by the Marina so I just went there. Also fair warning the water fountain by the Marina bathroom is broken bring your own water.

    Lori Tupek: Our YMCA ISNT just for exercise anymore, they have alot to offer. They have daycare, a hockey rink, they sell meat an other stuff to help support them. Its been a positive place for kids and adults to go and enjoy there time in doing so. They offer so much here, call check it out. They have $5 per day admission to $19 monthly memberships. Plus they also offer scholarships for a membership. The folks here are very kind, trustworthy, and have good hearts/intentions. Lets keep supporting the YMCA!
