5 /5 Patrick Simmons: I started training at Nak Muay about 3 months ago and it has been one of the best decisions I have made in a long time.
From the start the gym presented a welcoming atmosphere and a culture of mutual respect. Whether youre there to train seriously with the intent to compete, to learn self defense, or just get a great work out, all are made to feel welcome and supported. No egos or tough-guy attitudes, everyone I have worked with, from beginners like myself to advanced students helping us out, has made me feel like they are there to help me grow and improve, and instilled in me a desire to do the same for anyone I work with.
Coach Mack is an incredible teacher, instructing with patience, care and a clear love for Muay Thai, and Kru Eric is a font of knowledge and experience in all things authentic Muay Thai, making you feel as though youre not only learning a great and effective martial art, but also the culture and spirit behind it.
I also feel stronger and more capable than I have in my life thanks to the intense nature of training, but unlike most forms of difficult physical training, I have a blast doing it every time.
Whether youre looking to become a competitive fighter in Muay Thai, learn good self defense skills, or just get a helluva work out for your own health and well being, Nak Muay is the place, no question. Come and see for yourself!
